I remember reading in my book that you should warm up 30 seconds. Usually that is about how long it takes to put gloves on and tighten up your jacket if its cold, or tighten your helmet strap.
When it is under 50 degrees F, it sometimes takes longer.
Mechanical people: If I leave the choke on for a while during the time it takes me to go about 4 blocks, does that hurt anything? When it is cold, it seems to help.
